March 2005

Dear Pharmacy Provider:

We at Together Rx are committed to helping seniors save at the pharmacy, so we are providing you with important information about key savings programs in 2005 and 2006. Because many seniors may have questions, we have included a Quick Facts card that you can use to help your customers understand their options during this transitional time.

The Together Rx Card: savings through 2005

Today more than 1.5 million seniors have the Together Rx Card. When they present this card, they may receive savings of about 20%-40% on over 155 brand-name prescription medicines. This program was introduced as an interim solution to help eligible seniors until Medicare's full prescription benefit takes effect in 2006. Cardholders can still use the Together Rx Card until December 31, 2005. The last day to enroll is June 30, 2005.

Timetable for Medicare-approved drug discount cards

As you know, many seniors have also been using Medicare-approved drug discount cards for their pharmacy savings. For those who haven't yet applied, they can do so until December 31, 2005. The cards will be effective until May 15, 2006, or until the senior is enrolled in the full Medicare prescription coverage, whichever comes first.

Qualified low-income seniors can also take advantage of a $600 credit in 2005 on their Medicare-approved card. The amount if the credit depends on when seniors apply. The last day to apply for this credit is December 31, 2005, but to receive the largest credit, seniors should sign up as soon as possible. To find out more about eligibility requirements and how to apply, seniors should call 1-800-MEDICARE (1-800-633-4227). TTY users should call 1-877-486-2048.

Coming Soon: Medicare's new prescription plans

Beginning January 1, 2006, Medicare will offer new voluntary prescription drug plans. To enroll, seniors must have Medicare Part A or Part B. The initial enrollment period for these pans is from November 15, 2005, through May 15, 2006. To find out more about Medicare's prescription plans, seniors can call 1-800 MEDICARE (1-800-633-4227).

Together Rx Access, a new program for non-Medicare customers.

To continue the commitment begun with Together Rx, Member Companies and three additional companies formed Together Rx Access, a prescription program for non-Medicare beneficiaries. The Together Rx Access Program is designed to help qualified individuals and families who are eligible for Medicare, and who have no prescription drug coverage, save up to 40% on over 275 brand-name prescription drugs and other products. To learn more about Together Rx Access, call 1-800-444-4106 or go online at www.TogetherRxAccess.com.

If you or your eligible senior customers have any questions about Together Rx, simply call 1-800-865-7211, or visit www.Together-Rx.com for more information.

We hope you finds the enclosed Quick Facts card an easy way to help you and your customers stay up-to-date so that they can get the most from their savings options.

Sincerely,

The Together Rx Team
