NEW PACKAGING ENHANCEMENTS FOR ZYPREXA (OLANZAPINE)

In an effort to enhance the integrity of packaging for ZYPREXA, Eli Lilly and Company is making several Package enhancements to all strengths of 60-count and 1000-coint bottles.  The package enhancement will include:

60-count bottles: (Phased in Spring of 2004)

  • Neck wrap and red Lilly logo and holographic strip with white Lilly logo

  • Induction seal with white Lilly logo

  •  ZYPREXA.com in color shifting ink ( from rose to green)

1000-count bottles: (Phased in Summer of 2004)

  • Induction seal with white Lilly logo

  •  ZYPREXA.com in color shifing ink (from rose to green)

The Creighton University Drug Informatics Service is pleased to announce the availability of drug information services to preceptors affiliated with the School f Pharmacy and Health Professions.

Creighton University Drug Informatics Service

-Located in the Health Sciences Library on the Creighton campus, the service provides responses to non-emergent drug information inquiries.

-Open Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. (Closed weekends and holidays).

-Responses generally within 24-48 hours. More detailed questions may require additional time.

-Staffed year round by Creighton University School of Pharmacy and Health Professions fourth year pharmacy students and faculty.

-Emergency situations should be referred to the Poison Control Center at 1-800-222-1222.

Tablet/capsule identification                        Information on foreign drugs

Potential adverse reactions                          Drug drug interaction questions

Dietary supplements and herbal medication questions

Specifics drug information questions (examples below)

- What alternatives are available for  drug products that are currently unavailable?

-What information is available;e on the new monoclonal antibody for asthma?

-Is there any information on using fluvoxamine in pregnancy?

-What are the studies on hormone replacement therapy really saying?
