Indications and Usage
Rebif® (interferon beta-la) is indicated for the treatment of patients with relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis to decrease the frequency of clinical acerbations and delay the accumulation of physical disability. Efficacy of Rebif® in chronic progressive multiple sclerosis has not been established.

STORAGE AND STABILITY
Rebif® should be refrigerated between 2° - 8° (36° - 46° F). DO NOT FREEZE. If a refrigerator is temporarily not available, such as while you are traveling, Rebif should be kept in a cooler, below (25°C/77°F) and away from heat and light.
Do not use beyond the expiration date printed on the packages. Rebif contains no preservatives. Each syringe is intended for single use. Unused portions should be discarded.
DESCRIPTION
Rebif (interferon beta-la) is a purified 166-amino acid glycoprotein with a muscular weight of approximately 22,500 daltrons. It is produced by recombinant DNA technology as genetically engineered Chinese hamster ovary cells into which the human interferon beta gene has been introduced. The amino acid sequence of Rebif is identical to that of natural fiberolas-derived human interferon beta. Natural interferon beta and interferon beta-la (Rebif) are plycosylated, with each containing a single N-linked complex carbohydrate moiety.

CONTENTS
Each syringe contains interferon beta-la (22 mcg or 44), human serum albumen, mannitol, sodium acetate, and Water for Injection, USP.
