        http://www.nih.gov  Comprehensive site from NH with grant information, health and medical news, scientific resources, and information from the various institutes and centers.

4.      National Library of Medicine

        http://www.nlm.nih.gov  Creator of Medline and PubMed, this site has health information, library services, research programs, and medical news.

         http://www.webmd.com  This website is maintained by the WebMD Corporation, a leader in providing services that help physicians, consumers, providers and health plans navigate the complexity of the healthcare system.  Has information fo0r physicians and patients alike.  For the pharmacist, has information on drug and product alerts, diseases and health conditions.

        http://www.bmn.com  BioMedNet is owned by Elsevier Science and is the website for biological medical researchers.  Membership to BioMedNet is free, and members can search all of BioMedNet without charge.  However, viewing full-text articles from publishers often requires payment or a subscription.  Requires log-in.

        http://www.medherb.com  This site is brought to you by Medical Herbalism, a quarterly journal of herbal medicine.  The site provides links to medical information and to other resources relevant to medicinal herbs or herbalism.

Handheld or Palm Operating System Devices for Clinical Pharmacy Practice

Handheld or Palm Operating System Devices can be very beneficial to clinical pharmacy practitioners. Palm m505, Handera 330 and Sony Clie are palm devices that are currently available.  Palm m505 or Handera 330 are highly recommended. Types of existing software for these devices include patient tracking , activity documentation, document readers, medical calculators, medical information databases and drug information databases. Additionally, miscellaneous software for contacts , calendar, e-mail etc. exist for these devices. Two useful drug information databases regarding these devices are Lexi-drugs (Apothecarium) and ePocrates.
