Dear Participating Pharmacy:

As you are aware, the acquisition of the Eckerd Health Services (EHS) was completed on August 1, 2004.

With the assignment of the PharmaCare contracts to EHS, we can begin utilizing the combined national network rates that best meet our clients' needs. EHS and PharmaCare both have several national networks ranging in size and rates. Our goal is to align networks that provide the most accessible and cost effective networks to our clients, whether it is an EHS network or a PharmaCare network.

The first national network to be utilized will be the PharmaCare Specialty Network by EHS.

Networks currently being used could change during a client's renewal process or prior if the client requests such a a change. Given the size or our now combined client base, we are sure this network enhancement will prove beneficial to our pharmacies.
